Jaguar is preparing to launch the Type 01, its first all-electric grand tourer, in the United States by late 2026. Pricing is expected to start around $130,000.

The Type 01 will be a four-door electric grand tourer with a monolithic design, according to information shared by Jaguar so far. It will use two motors at the rear as the primary drive units, along with a third motor at the front for additional power.
Combined, the setup is expected to produce more than 986 horsepower and over 959 lb-ft of torque. The car will run on an 850-volt electrical architecture, which Jaguar says should allow charging from 10 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes.
Jaguar is targeting a WLTP range of 478 miles, which, based on typical conversion differences, could translate to an EPA-estimated range of more than 375 miles in the U.S.
