The Zeekr 001 price in Spain gives the Chinese electric shooting brake a strong position in Europe’s premium EV market. It starts from €60,175, making it notably cheaper than the BMW iX3 in Spain.

What Happened

Zeekr has introduced the 001 in Spain as part of its European expansion. The model arrives with a distinctive shooting brake body, a large battery, and several versions aimed at premium electric car buyers.

The entry version is the Zeekr 001 Long Range RWD. It uses a 100 kWh battery and offers up to 620 km of WLTP range. This version produces 200 kW, or around 272 hp, and starts from €60,175 in Spain.

There are also more powerful all-wheel-drive versions. The Performance AWD and Privilege AWD use dual motors with 400 kW, equivalent to about 544 hp. Both can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.

Why the Price Matters

The price is one of the most important points. In Spain, the BMW iX3 50 xDrive is listed from €69,900. That makes the Zeekr 001 Long Range almost €10,000 cheaper at its starting price.

This does not mean both cars are identical. The BMW iX3 is an electric SUV, while the Zeekr 001 has a shooting brake design. However, both compete for buyers looking at premium electric vehicles with long range, strong technology, and family-friendly practicality.

What Is Known So Far

The Zeekr 001 offers up to 620 km of WLTP range in its rear-wheel-drive version. The AWD versions reduce range slightly but add much stronger performance. Depending on the version, range figures are around 585 to 594 km WLTP.

Charging is also part of its appeal. According to Zeekr, the 001 can charge from 10% to 80% in about 30 minutes using DC fast charging. The car also includes premium features such as advanced driver assistance systems, a large digital interface, and available active air suspension on higher trims.

In terms of size, the Zeekr 001 is close to five meters long. This gives it a spacious cabin and a practical cargo area. Its shape also helps it stand apart from the many SUVs now dominating the electric car market.

What This Means for Drivers

For drivers in Spain and other European markets, the Zeekr 001 adds another serious option to the premium EV segment. It combines long range, high power, and a different body style at a competitive price.

Its arrival also shows how Chinese electric car brands are becoming stronger in Europe. Instead of focusing only on affordability, brands like Zeekr are now targeting buyers who want design, performance, comfort, and technology.

The biggest question will be how European drivers respond to the brand over time. Price and specifications are strong, but trust, service coverage, resale value, and real-world ownership experience will also matter.

The Zeekr 001 shows how quickly the electric car market is changing. European brands now face more pressure from Chinese manufacturers that are offering premium features at aggressive prices.

For buyers, this could mean more choice and stronger competition. For established automakers, it raises the need to balance brand reputation with technology, pricing, and value.
